BlackBerry has been struggling to keep pace in the smartphone market and has moved to expand its service offering to iPhone and Android-powered mobile phones. BlackBerry recently introduced its messenger service, BlackBerry Messenger, for third-party platforms and it has been reportedly an instant hit with over 10 million people who have downloaded the service. The sinking smartphone maker revealed that in just 24 hours BBM has been downloaded over 10 million times by Android and iPhone users, one of the best single-day openings for a mobile app to date. BlackBerry has been struggling to keep pace in the smartphone market and has moved to expand its service offering to iPhone and Android-powered mobile phones.

Another common problem that most of the users are facing once they install the BBM on their phone is the battery drainage issue. This problem was noticed when a few users didn’t use their phone for a while after charging or they just made 3-4 calls, a couple texts and all of sudden one day battery started to die after 30 minutes being off the charger and a red warning of death shows up and phone shuts down.

On Research, it was found that this problem was result of the overtime working of the CPU on something unknown and possibly it was just getting stuck in a loop. So, try to reboot it just like stubborn computer, hit left- alt, right- shift , del keys all at the same time and hold it till your system reboots. You won’t streak it, as it is just a soft reboot. But some people are not even able to reboot, they are suggested to remove the third party apps because they could be the reason, they are not able to reboot. But these kind of issues are making customer mislay their belief in blackberry because along the line, RIM has forgot all the support and has customers struggling with these issues on their own, time and time again.
